How In-House Advertising Can Boost Your Profits

digital signage for sports bars

Nowadays, you’ve got someone working at your bar or restaurant which also doubles as your social media manager—it might even be you! You’re creating graphics to post on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram that promote your various specials but did you know you can use those graphics inside the restaurant, too?

Control Play has introduced our “Upload Infotainment” feature, allowing you to add your custom digital signage to the system. Just put the files on your console (we recommend a USB stick, but you could also put the files on your phone, or even e-mail them to yourself) and you can upload them, schedule them, or play them on-demand.

I’ve spoken to a few people who don’t think branding and advertising inside the restaurant are that important. “They came here; they know where they are, right?! My wait staff will tell them about the specials!” Sure, but do they know what’s coming up tomorrow? Next week? Next month? Think about how much more receptive to advertising you’d be if you’re already having a really great experience at the place that’s being promoted?

How many times have you started a story with a sentence like “We were out with friends a few nights ago and went to this place, it was great, but I can’t remember what it was called…”

Having your logo and name brand up on the screens will help those new customers remember where they had such a blast which means better word-of-mouth advertising and more repeat business.

We’ve created a one-minute tutorial video to walk you through the process. Of course, if you need help, all you have to do is click the chat box at the bottom of this page—our support team is available seventeen hours a day, so the odds are good if you’re open, we’re open.

Start uploading your images, videos, and even audio clips today with Control Play’s Infotainment Uploader feature.
